My car is damaged and I need to get it repaired, but I don't know what to do or where to go?
- YOU, as the vehicle owner, have the right to choose the collision center that repairs your vehicle. NOT the person who hit you. NOT the Insurance Company paying for the repairs.
- In California, you are NOT required to obtain multiple estimates. Make sure to choose a collision shop that has been in business for many years. It's helpful to ask a friend or co-worker for a referral.
- At Carriage Collision, you do not need an appointment and the estimate is free. You will be greeted by our friendly receptionist and a comfortable, clean customer waiting area is provided.
- Make sure that you understand the estimate before you leave the shop. We will provide a typed estimate, explain the repairs needed and let you know how long the repair will take.
How do I get my repairs paid for?- Upon request, we will call the person who collided with you, explain the damage found, and make payment arrangements.
- If the person who damaged your car chooses to place a claim with an Insurance Company, we will assist you with that procedure.
- Remember, Insurance Company's may NOT charge you anything extra for choosing a particular repair facility. They must pay for the repairs in full. And, Carriage Collision gives you a Lifetime Warranty on the repairs; NOT the Insurance Company.
